Regular Season Round 8: Rapla - Parnu 75-62

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Parnu (3-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Rapla (6-2) 75-62. The game was mostly controlled by Rapla. Parnu was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dutch center Thomas van der Mars (208-90, college: Portland) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 24 rebounds and 4 assists. Slovenian point guard Domen Bratoz (189-93, agency: Two Points) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Rapla players scored in double figures. Lithuanian swingman Edvinas Seskus (196-95) replied with 20 points and British guard Teddy Okereafor (193-92, college: Rider, agency: Two Points) added 7 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Parnu. Rapla moved-up to second place. Parnu at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Tarvas. Rapla will play against BC Rakvere (#6) on the road in the next round. Parnu will play against TLU/Kalev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
