Regular Season Round 9: Prostejov B - Olomouc SK 75-76

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked BK Prostejov B (1-8) was edged at home by fourth ranked Olomouc SK (6-3) 76-75 on Sunday. BK Prostejov B was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Pavel Novak (199-83) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and forward Jan Zlamal (193-91) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Marek Sehnal (196-96) with 17 points and guard Jan Hlobil (190) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Olomouc SK. They moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Opava B and Sokol Slapanice. BK Prostejov B lost their fifth game in a row. BK Prostejov B at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Olomouc SK will face league's leader SKB Zlin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BK Prostejov B will play against Ostrava (#6) and hope to win that game.
