Regular Season Round 11: Xinjiang FT - Liaoning FL 112-107

The game between third ranked Liaoning Hunters (8-3) and fourth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tigers (9-2) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Liaoning Hunters were defeated by Xinjiang Flying Tigers in a tough game in Urumqi 107-112. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Liaoning Hunters. Xinjiang Flying Tigers made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Liaoning Hunters turnovers. Strangely Liaoning Hunters outrebounded Xinjiang Flying Tigers 47-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Xinjiang Flying Tige made 7 blocks. American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists. Ghanian-American forward Ben Bentil (206-95, college: Providence) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) answered with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) added 26 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Liaoning Hunters. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Xinjiang Flying Tige moved-up to third place. Liaoning Hunters at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Guangdong ST and Shenzhen L.. Xinjiang Flying Tige are looking forward to face league's second-placed Shanghai Sharks on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Liaoning Hunters will play against Qingdao Eagles and are hoping to win this game.
