Regular Season Round 10: Sokol Pisek - Slavoj Litom. 63-75

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Slavoj BK Litomerice (6-4) defeated on the road 10th ranked Sokol Pisek (2-8) 75-63 on Friday. They outrebounded Sokol Pisek 43-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Center Martin Klimes (203-83, college: Vermont) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Jakub Zbroj (190-94) chipped in 20 points. Four Slavoj BK Litomerice players scored in double figures. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) produced 16 points and forward Milan Spicak (198-90) added 3 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Slavoj BK Litomerice moved-up to third place in Group A. Sokol Pisek lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with eight games lost. Slavoj BK Litomerice will face Sokol Prazky (#6) in Praha in the next round. Sokol Pisek will play on the road against USK Praha B (#4) and hope to win that game.
