Everything went according to plan when second ranked Eskisehir Basket (12-1) defeated 11th ranked Gelisim (5-8) in Izmir 82-76. Eskisehir Basket forced 22 Gelisim turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) fired 29 points for the winners. The former international center Cemal Nalga (213-87, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Eskisehir Basket's coach Brad Greenberg allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) produced 23 points and 6 assists and Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
