Regular Season Round 9: Atomeromu - Szedeak 79-72

We should mention about the upset which took place in Paks, where higher ranked Szedeak (4-3) lost to eleventh ranked Atomeromu (3-6) in a road game 72-79. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Szedeak. Szedeak was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 28-19 charge of Atomeromu, which allowed them to win the game. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Szedeak helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard P.J. Hill Jr. (182-87, college: Ohio St., agency: Octagon Europe) nailed 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Lawrence Gilbert (200-86, college: La-Monroe, agency: Mansfield and Associates) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds. Hill Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88, agency: Two Points) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Szedeak in the defeat. Five Atomeromu and four Szedeak players scored in double figures. Atomeromu maintains eleventh place with 3-6 record. Szedeak at the other side keeps the seventh position with three games lost. Atomeromu's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Kormend on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
