Regular Season Round 4: Kumanovo - Pelister Bitola 82-67

Third ranked Kumanovo (3-1) beat at home 6th ranked Pelister Bitola (1-3) by 15 points 82-67, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Kumanovo. Pelister Bitola was better in fourth quarter 20-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kumanovo forced 22 Pelister Bitola turnovers. It was a very good performance for Slovenian center Radoslav Pekovic (215-94) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian power forward Danilo Mijatovic (206-83, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Kumanovo players scored in double figures. Montenegrin center Miko Golubovic (206-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian forward Milos Andrejevic (198-89) added 15 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) in the effort for Pelister Bitola. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kumanovo have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 3-1 record behind leader Feni Industries. Newly promoted Pelister Bitola dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Kumanovo's next round opponent will be league's leader Feni Industries in Kavadarci and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pelister Bitola will play at home against Strumica (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
