Regular Season Round 4: Rabotnicki - Kozuv 81-80

The most exciting game of round 4 in the Prva Liga took place in Skopje. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th ranked Kozuv (1-3) to top-ranked Rabotnicki (4-0) 81-80 on Saturday evening. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Strangely Kozuv outrebounded Rabotnicki 30-18 including 22 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) who added 18 points during the contest. At the losing side Serbian Milivoje Mijovic (200-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Kenyon McNeaill (185-91, college: Louisiana Tech) scored 16 points. Five Rabotnicki and four Kozuv players scored in double figures. Rabotnicki have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Feni Industries. Kozuv at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Pelister Bitola and Ohrid AV. Rabotnicki is looking forward to face Ohrid AV (#5) on the road in the next round. Kozuv will have a break next round.
