Rather predictable result in Opole where sixth ranked AZS KU PO (6-4) beat 9th ranked MKS DG 2 (3-9) 88-74 on Sunday. AZS KU PO dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to MKS DG 2's 32 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded MKS DG 2 40-29 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. AZS KU PO looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. They dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost. AZS KU PO will face league's second-placed AZS AWF Mick. in Katowice in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS DG 2 will play on the road against Przemysl (#7) and hope to win that game.
