There was a small surprise when sixth ranked KFUM Jamtland (6-5) beat at home 6th ranked Boras Basket (7-6) 90-84 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-84. The best player for the winners was American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) who scored 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Estonian swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) produced 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and his fellow American import forward Shaquille Hines (203-93, college: UTRGV) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five KFUM Jamtland and four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland maintains sixth position with 6-5 record. Loser Boras Basket dropped to the fifth place with six games lost.
