There was a surprise result when ninth ranked BK Prostejov B (4-8) beat at home higher ranked Olomouc Bbal (6-6) 70-53 on Tuesday. BK Prostejov B forced 22 Olomouc Bbal turnovers. Olomouc Bbal was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Marek Sehnal (196-96) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Viktor Vasat (207-97) who added 11 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four BK Prostejov B players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Moldovan forward Evgeni Scripcaru (195-83) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Jiri Dedek (190-95) scored 16 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Olomouc Bbal's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. BK Prostejov B moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Pardubice. Loser Olomouc Bbal dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. BK Prostejov B will face Pardubice (#8) on the road in the next round. Olomouc Bbal will play against the league's leader SKB Zlin (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
