Regular Season Round 3: Saigon H. - Hong Kong ELL 74-84

Hong Kong ELL delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they beat Vietnamese Saigon Heat (0-2) 84-74. Saigon Heat was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 46-28 second half run of Hong Kong ELL. It was a good game for American guard Marcus Elliott (191-84, college: Louisiana Tech) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 assists. French guard Steven Guinchard (196-93, college: Emmanuel, GA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Hong Kong ELL players scored in double figures. American Lenny Daniel (203-87, college: CS Northridge) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import forward Herbert Hill (208-84, college: Providence) added 29 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Saigon Heat. Hong Kong ELL will play against Singapore Slingers at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Saigon Heat will play against Alab Pilipinas and hopes to get finally their first victory.
