Regular Season Round 5: Feni Industries - Kumanovo 72-64

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kavadarci. Leader Feni Industries faced 3rd placed Kumanovo. Host Feni Industries (5-0) defeated guests from Kumanovo (3-2) 72-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kumanovo. Kumanovo trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 22-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-72 at the end of the game. Feni Industries dominated on the defensive end, holding Kumanovo to just 7 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Croatian guard Matija Ceskovic (192-81) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Four Feni Industries players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Aleksandar Kostovski (186-88) produced 14 points and 7 assists and the former international guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Feni Industries have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Rabotnicki. Kumanovo at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Feni Industries is looking forward to face Strumica (#6) in Strumica in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kumanovo will play on the road against Vardar Apave in Skopje and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
