Regular Season Round 12: Kongsberg - Persbraten 88-65

BLNO top team - Kongsberg (12-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Persbraten (1-12) 88-65. The game without a history. Kongsberg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kongsberg outrebounded Persbraten 41-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 5 rebounds. Croatian guard Tomislav Gabric (198-91, college: Ft.Hays State) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Christian Bakken (198-88) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and Hungarian-Swedish guard Zoltan Kurinczky (181-82) added 11 points in the effort for Persbraten. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kongsberg have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Persbraten lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost. Kongsberg will have a break next round. Persbraten's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Ammerud Bskt.
