Regular Season Round 13: Rosenheim - Oberhaching 88-100

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Oberhaching's (6-6) road victory over 9th ranked Rosenheim (4-8) 100-88 on Saturday. Oberhaching made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 5 assists. Point guard Janosch Koegler (190-93) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Osvaldas Gaizauskas (201-91, college: Ohio Valley) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Rosenheim. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Rosenheim's coach Mario Knezevic let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Oberhaching. They moved-up to seventh place in South-East, which they share with Jena II. Loser Rosenheim keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Oberhaching will face league's leader Coburg at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rosenheim will play against Zwickau (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
