WCBA round 21 caused change at the leadership position. Seventh defeat of league's leader Beijing Great Wall (14-7) against fifth ranked Shenyang Golden Lions (10-9) 79-63 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Beijing Great Wall. Shenyang Golden Lions forced 21 Beijing Great Wall turnovers. It was a good game for the former international forward Shuang Zhao (188-90) who led her team to a victory with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. International forward Meng Li (185-95) contributed with 23 points and 4 steals for the winners. Four Shenyang Golden Lions players scored in double figures. International Song Gao (188-92) answered with 8 points and 11 rebounds and international forward Ting Shao (183-89) added 15 points in the effort for Beijing Great Wall. Shenyang Golden Lions maintains fifth place in Group A with 10-9 record. Defending champion Beijing Great Wall dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Bayi who have the same record. There is only one round left in the Second Stage. And it will be most important game for Beijing Great Wall this season. They will face Guangdong Dolphins trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Shenyang Golden Lions will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Shanxi Rui Flame in Taiyuan.
