Quite upsetting was Betanzos' 33-point home defeat in a game versus Estudiantes L. who crushed hosts . The game without a history. Estudiantes L. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Estudiantes L. forced 24 Betanzos turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Roberto Abuin (190-95) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Pablo Cordoba (182-97) chipped in 20 points. Five Estudiantes L. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Marcos Rozas (202-83) who recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Pablo Fernandez (178-92) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
