Point guard Jared Jordan (187-84, college: Marist) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and swingman Garlon Green (201-91, college: TCU) added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Walter Tigers in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Science City Jena maintains eleventh place with 5-7 record. Loser Walter Tigers dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with Bremerhaven and Wuerzburg. Science City Jena will meet higher ranked BG Goettingen (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Walter Tigers will play against ALBA Berlin and hope to secure a win.
