Regular Season Round 12: Nanterre - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 85-74

The game between Top Four teams took place in Nanterre. Third ranked host JSF Nanterre (9-3) defeated one of their biggest challengers Pau-Lacq-Orthez (8-4) 85-74. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 41-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Spencer Butterfield (190-92, college: Utah St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 assists and Mathias Lessort (205-95) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard D.J. Cooper (183-90, college: Ohio) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists and Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (207-91) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five JSF Nanterre and four Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre moved-up to second place, which they share with Chalon. Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. JSF Nanterre is looking forward to face Paris-Levallois (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play against JDA Dijon and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
