Regular Season Round 14: Talje - Trelleborg 78-98

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Trelleborg (8-3) smashed on the road 9th ranked Talje Knights (3-8) 98-78 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. Talje Knights was better in fourth quarter 28-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trelleborg dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Talje Knights' 24. They outrebounded Talje Knights 50-20 including a 33-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Guard Anis Ben Hamida (195-90) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Henrik Sjolin (183-97) produced 22 points and 5 assists and point guard Filip Kovacek (182-95) added 24 points respectively for the hosts. Talje Knights' coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Trelleborg moved-up to third place, which they share with Wetterbygden. Loser Talje Knights dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost.
