Regular Season Round 17: Shenzhen L. - Zhejiang GB 124-85

The game between sixth ranked Leopards (13-4) and 16th ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (4-13) in Shenzhen ended with biggest points difference. Leopards outscored guests from Hangzhou 124-85. Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's 48. Leopards forced 20 Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Leopards' coach Qun Li felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Yongpeng Zhang (208-90) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and international guard Qian Wu (190-94) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Leopards. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Liaoning H. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. Leopards' next round opponent will be Jiangsu TX (#15) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play against Jilin Tigers and hope to win that game.
