The game with biggest result difference took place in Mogilev. Local COR-Borisfen (12-0) outscored 9th ranked Brest (2-12) 124-76 on Saturday night. The game without a history. COR-Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Brest's 52. COR-Borisfen forced 20 Brest turnovers and outrebounded them 56-31 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Alexander Kharkevich (186-86) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Ukrainian power forward Andriy Malysh (203-83, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who added 16 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four COR-Borisfen players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Alexei Stepura (189-93) responded with 24 points and guard Anton Shchurko (188-97) scored 23 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. COR-Borisfen have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Grodno-93. Brest lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with GOCOR-Sozh. COR-Borisfen will meet at home Tsmoki II (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Brest will have a break next round.
