Regular Season Round 13: Real Betis SVL 2 - ULB OH!TELS 76-67

The biggest surprise took place in Sevilla where host Real Betis SVL 2 (1-10) beat league's leader ULB OH!TELS (9-2) 76-67 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of ULB OH!TELS. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But ULB OH!TELS won third quarter 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Real Betis SVL 2 forced 20 ULB OH!TELS turnovers. Alejandro Valor (203-99) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guard Alejandro Fierro (186-99) chipped in 20 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American center Evan Maxwell (203, college: Dowling) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and Joel Exposito (194-94) added 12 points respectively for lost side. ULB OH!TELS's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Real Betis SVL 2 maintains eighth place in Group D-B with 1-10 record. ULB OH!TELS at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Menorca who have the same record. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
