Regular Season Round 16: BK Decin - CEZ Nymburk 81-83

The most exciting game of round 16 in the NBL took place in Decin. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd ranked BK Decin (12-5) to first ranked CEZ Nymburk (15-1) 83-81 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of BK Decin. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Vojtech Hruban (202-89) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international guard Jiri Welsch (199-80) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. At the losing side international point guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 22 points and 7 assists and the former international Jakub Houska (207-82) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-1 record. BK Decin at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. CEZ Nymburk are looking forward to face BK Usti nad Labem (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BK Decin will play against BK Opava (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
