Rather predictable result in Wuerzburg where twelfth ranked s Oliver Baskets (4-10) defeated 16th ranked Braunschweig (3-10) 93-89 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. s Oliver Baskets made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. s Oliver Baskets outrebounded Braunschweig 38-23 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Brendan Lane (206-90, college: Pepperdine) who scored 30 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import point guard Jake Odum (193-91, college: Indiana St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists. Canadian forward Dyshawn Pierre (198-93, college: Dayton) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Carlton Guyton (193-90, college: Kent St.) added 25 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. s Oliver Baskets maintains twelfth position with 4-10 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Braunschweig lost third consecutive game.
