No shocking result in a game in Ningbo where seventh ranked Shanxi Zhongyu (11-8) defeated 18th ranked Bayi Rockets (3-16) 114-101 on Sunday. Shanxi Zhongyu made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Bayi Rockets were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: San Diego St.) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Guard LingXu Zeng (193-87) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. The former international guard Shuo Han (196-86) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Yuchen Zou (203-96) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Shanxi Zhongyu have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 11-8 record, which they share with Beijing D. Bayi Rockets lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the nineteenth position with 16 games lost.
