Regular Season Round 20: Liaoning FL - Jiangsu TX MK 130-107

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Liaoning Hunters (15-5) crushed 16th ranked Jiangsu TX (5-15) in Yingkou 130-107. Liaoning Hunters dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu TX's 54. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Jiangsu TX helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international Ailun Guo (192-93) who scored 29 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) chipped in 29 points. Five Liaoning Hunters players scored in double figures. American guard Jared Cunningham (193-91, college: Oregon St.) produced 41 points (!!!) and Nigerian-American power forward Ikechukwu Diogu (204-83, college: Arizona St.) added 24 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Liaoning Hunters moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Guangsha L. Jiangsu TX at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Liaoning Hunters' next round opponent will be Jiangsu Dragons (#9) in Nanjing where they are favorite. Jiangsu TX will play at home against the league's leader Shanghai Sharks (#1) and hope to win that game.
