Regular Season Round 9: Dynamo-NPU - DVUFK 88-62

There was no surprise in Kyiv where 8th ranked DVUFK (1-11) was crushed by fifth ranked Dynamo-NPU (6-4) 88-62. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Dynamo-NPU players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for Nataliia Tsiubyk (178-98) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Center Alina Iordan (190-88) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Dynamo-NPU players scored in double figures. Power forward Daryna Dubrovska (190-99) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Oksana Fastova (173-99) added 14 points in the effort for DVUFK. DVUFK's coach Oleksandr Cherednichenko gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Dynamo-NPU moved-up to fourth place. DVUFK lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Dynamo-NPU will play against higher ranked Interkhim (#3) in Odessa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DVUFK will play at home against Blyskavky (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
