Regular Season Round 17: Bremerhaven - Wuerzburg 93-88

Date: December 29, 2016
There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-11) beat at home 12th ranked s Oliver Baskets (5-11) 93-88 on Thursday. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Harper Kamp (203-88, college: California) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Swingman Quincy Diggs (198-90, college: Akron, agency: Mansfield and Associates) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Center Brendan Lane (206-90, college: Pepperdine) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Lamonte Ulmer (198-86, college: Rhode Island, agency: HMS) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. s Oliver Baskets' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Wuerzburg. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. s Oliver Baskets will play against BG Goettingen (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
