Bottom-ranked H.Analitica managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of three consecutive losses on Thursday night. This time newly promoted H.Analitica won against ninth-ranked KK Zabok in Zagreb 93-86. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KK Zabok won fourth quarter 30-29. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. H.Analitica dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to KK Zabok's 44 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded KK Zabok 43-23 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. H.Analitica looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Hrvoje Garfolic (196-90) fired 21 points, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Power forward Dino Rados (203-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five H.Analitica players scored in double figures. Guard Sven Smajlagic (195-90, agency: XL Basketball Agency) produced 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard Nick Tomsick (185-91, college: Fort Lewis) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. KK Zabok's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. H.Analitica (2-11) moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser KK Zabok dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. H.Analitica's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zagreb Cibona.
