Regular Season Round 24: Jiangsu D. - Sichuan BW 110-94

There was a small surprise in Nanjing where eleventh ranked Jiangsu Dragons (12-12) beat 9th ranked Sichuan BW (12-12) 110-94. Jiangsu Dragons made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Sichuan BW turnovers. It was a good game for American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 56 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Swingman Lei Chen (195-83) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. Jiangsu Dragons' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 17 rebounds and the former international swingman Da Meng (196-82) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sichuan BW. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Sichuan BW and Shanxi Zh. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be higher ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (#3) in Urumqi and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
