Regular Season Round 13: Maccabi H/H - Hapoel K/S 101-81

We should mention about the upset which took place in Hod Hasharon, where 4th placed Hapoel Kfar Saba (7-6) was outleveled in a road game by tenth ranked Hasharon (6-7) 101-81. Hasharon shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Hapoel Kfar Saba's players. American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) accounted for 18 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Denzel Livingston (193-93, college: Incarnate Word) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Adi Cohen (178-93) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Hapoel Kfar Saba in the defeat. Five Hasharon and four Hapoel Kfar Saba players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hasharon maintains tenth place with 6-7 record. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Hasharon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (#9) in Tarshicha and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
