Important game to mention about took place in Levice. Fifth ranked Iskra Svit (12-10) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed Levice (15-6) 78-76 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Evan Singletary (185-94, college: Albany) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 4 steals. Israeli center Anton Shoutvin (206-89) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Serbian forward Zarko Djuric (202-89) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Bosnian power forward Igor Josipovic (205-88) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Levice in the defeat. Four Iskra Svit and five Levice players scored in double figures. Iskra Svit maintains fifth place with 12-10 record. Levice at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Iskra Svit will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Levice will play on the road against Nova Ves and hopes to get back on the winning track.
