Regular Season Round 14: Bernau - Rist Wedel 89-75

ProB top team - SSV Lok Bernau (11-3) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked SC Rist Wedel (6-8) 89-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SC Rist Wedel. SSV Lok Bernau looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by SC Rist Wedel's players. Guard Robert Kulawick (192-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Pierre Bland (188-92, college: IPFW, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. Lithuanian power forward Aurimas Adomaitis (205-87, college: LIU Brooklyn) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and guard Steffen Kiese (190-87) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for SC Rist Wedel. Four SSV Lok Bernau and five SC Rist Wedel players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Newly promoted SSV Lok Bernau maintains first position in North with 11-3 record. Loser SC Rist Wedel keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. SSV Lok Bernau will face Iserlohn (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SC Rist Wedel will play against RSV Eintracht (#10) and hope to win that game.
