Regular Season Round 15: MBK Ruzomb. - BAM Poprad 78-46

There was no surprise when 5th ranked BAM Poprad (6-8) was crushed on the road by third ranked MBK Ruzomberok (10-3) 78-46. MBK Ruzomberok made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 BAM Poprad turnovers. It was a good game for Canadian forward Taijah Campbell (190-94, college: Virginia Tech) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. International center Eva Kmetova (188-87) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. Zuzana Ivancakova (178-93) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Lucia Hadacova (185-95) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for BAM Poprad. BAM Poprad's coach Milan Cernicky gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. MBK Ruzomberok maintains third place with 10-3 record having just two points less than leader Good Angels. BAM Poprad at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. MBK Ruzomberok will play against Banska Bystrica (#6) on the road in the next round. BAM Poprad will play against UKF Nitra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
