Another exciting game where fifth ranked Cegledi EKK (7-4) edged by three points 6th ranked Miskolc (6-5) 75-72. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Miskolc won third quarter 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cegledi EKK made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Serbian Maja Skoric (185-89) who led her team to a victory with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian center Jelena Maksimovic (192-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Cegledi EKK players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Tina Jovanovic (190-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and the former international forward Rita Rasheed (182-89) added 19 points in the effort for Miskolc. Cegledi EKK maintains fifth position with 7-4 record. Miskolc at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Cegledi EKK will play against ZTE NKK (#7) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round. Miskolc will have a break next round.
