Regular Season Round 15: Reggio Emilia - Cento 78-74

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Reggio Emilia (6-9) defeated at home 4th placed Cento (11-4) 78-74 on Sunday. Reggio Emilia forced 19 Cento turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. It was a good game for swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (195-91) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Luca Bertolini (175-85) contributed with 19 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Forward Davide Andreaus (202-86) answered with 19 points and power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) added 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Cento. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Reggio Emilia moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Desio. Loser Cento keeps the fourth position with four games lost.
