Very expected game when 6th ranked Ostrava (5-8) was defeated at home by second ranked Olomouc SK (10-3) 87-72 on Sunday. Olomouc SK outrebounded Ostrava 103-77 including a 66-49 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 25 long-distance shots on high 53.2 percentage. Ostrava was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Pavel Novak (199-83) fired 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Martin Vanak (198-87) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Olomouc SK's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Lukas Bukovjan (185-98) produced 18 points and guard Michal Palat (194-90) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Olomouc SK have a solid series of three victories in a row.
