An exciting game was when Taiyuan Textile faced Taipower. Taiyuan Textile (5-1) defeated Taipower (0-6) 87-75. Taiyuan Textile had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international center Pei-Chen Tsai (186-84) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. The former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (172-91) contributed with 33 points (!!!) for the winners. Four Taiyuan Textile players scored in double figures. International forward Yu-Chun Wei (173-92) replied with 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and forward Yi-Chun Lin (165-91) added 13 points in the effort for Taipower. Taipower's coach Wei-Juan Qian rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Taiyuan Textile will play against Chunghwa Telecom (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taipower will play against Cathay Life to get more than just one victory in their record.
