Not a big story in a game in Izmir where 18th ranked Muglaorman (2-16) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Gelisim (6-12) 65-51 on Friday. Muglaorman was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) who scored 25 points and 4 steals. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Omer Gogus (-89) who recorded 13 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts) added 20 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Gelisim moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Pertevniyal. Muglaorman lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Gelisim will face higher ranked Turk Telekom (#9) in Ankara in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Muglaorman will play at home against Samsun (#8) and hope to win that game.
