KTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Point guard Medas Kuprijanovas (195-96) contributed with 15 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Five KTU players scored in double figures. KTU's coach Vytautas Pliauga felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Lukas Grabauskas (194-95) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Ricardas Verbickas (191-95) added 16 points in the effort for Petrochema.
