A very interesting game took place in . It ended with only two-point home defeat of second-best Calvia (8-4) to ninth ranked Santfeliuenc (6-6) 121-119 on Sunday evening. Santfeliuenc shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 65.4 percentage. 29 personal fouls committed by Calvia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for guard Xavier Guirao (190-87) who led his team to a victory with 39 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Senegalese center Mouhamadou Diop (212-87) contributed with 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Carlos Olle (185-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists and forward Gabriel Torres (198-89) added 26 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Calvia. Four Santfeliuenc and five Calvia players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Santfeliuenc moved-up to eighth place in Group C-A. Newly promoted Calvia keeps the second position with four games lost. Santfeliuenc's next round opponent will be Barna (#10) in Barcelona. Calvia will play on the road against Sant Nicolau (#12) in Sabadell and hope to win that game.
