1Liga top team - SKB Zlin (13-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Pardubice (5-9) 77-71. SKB Zlin forced 19 Pardubice turnovers and outrebounded them 70-55 including a 43-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 25 long-distance shots on high 52.1 percentage. SKB Zlin players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Pardubice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was David Nehoda (193-91) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Center Tomas Voslajer (211-90) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four SKB Zlin players scored in double figures. Point guard Lukas Brozek (180-98) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and forward Michal Svoboda (190-99) added 11 points respectively for the guests. SKB Zlin maintains first position in Group B with 13-1 record. Pardubice at the other side dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. SKB Zlin's next round opponent will be Havirov (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Pardubice will play against Sokol Slapanice (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
