Regular Season Round 29: Jiangsu D. - Tianjin GL 108-88

Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (15-14) outplayed 12th ranked TianJin Steel (13-16) in Nanjing 108-88 on Wednesday. Jiangsu Dragons forced 19 TianJin Steel turnovers. American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) nailed 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and his fellow American import center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) accounted for 25 points and 14 rebounds. American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) came up with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Palestinian center Sani Sakakini (204-88) added 12 points and 14 rebounds respectively for TianJin Steel in the defeat. Four Jiangsu Dragons and five TianJin Steel players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jiangsu Dragons have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Sichuan BW. Loser TianJin Steel keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Shanxi Zh.. Jiangsu Dragons will meet higher ranked Beijing Ducks (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TianJin Steel will play against Guangzhou (#20) and hope to secure a win.
