No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Lugano Tigers (7-6) defeated at home 8th ranked Swiss Central (5-8) 66-58 on Saturday. Swiss Central trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 19-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 58-66 at the end of the game. Lugano Tigers made 27-of-28 free shots (96.4 percent) during the game, while Swiss Central only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Swiss Central 42-22 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Eric Williams (206-84, college: Wake Forest, agency: Octagon Europe) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Derek Stockalper (196-84, college: Cal Poly - SLO) chipped in 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Marco Lehmann (185-93) responded with 23 points and Serbian guard Nemanja Kovacevic (194-85) scored 13 points. Lugano Tigers maintains sixth position with 7-6 record.
