Very expected game in Athens where 13th ranked Arkadikos (4-10) was defeated by eighth ranked Psyhiko (7-7) 85-77 on Saturday. Psyhiko looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Forward Vasileios Mouratos (193-97) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian guard Sven Smajlagic (195-90) chipped in 22 points during the contest. Lithuanian guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and center Savvas Tsougarakis (207-86) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Arkadikos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Psyhiko have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 7-7 record. Arkadikos lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with ten games lost. Psyhiko will face GS Larissas (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Arkadikos will play against Pagrati and hope to win that game.
