Regular Season Round 15: Sokol H.K. - Sokol Pisek 87-70

1Liga top team - Sokol Hradec Kralove (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat ninth ranked Sokol Pisek (5-11) 87-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sokol Pisek. They outrebounded Sokol Pisek 34-18 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Samuel Faifr (203-93, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Tomas Mahler (190-88) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Sokol Hradec Kralove players scored in double figures. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) answered with 19 points and center Dalibor Fait (203-93) added 14 points in the effort for Sokol Pisek. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sokol Hradec Kralove maintains first place in Group A with 13-2 record. Sokol Pisek at the other side keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Sokol Hradec Kralove's next round opponent will be Sokol Prazky (#4) in Praha. Sokol Pisek will play at home against GBA Sparta (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
