Regular Season Round 30: Liaoning FL - Xinjiang FT 106-100

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (24-6) against fourth ranked Liaoning Hunters (23-7) on Sunday night. Visiting Xinjiang Flying Tige was defeated by Liaoning Hunters in a tough game in Yingkou 100-106. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Xinjiang Flying Tige. Liaoning Hunters forced 19 Xinjiang Flying Tige turnovers. The best player for the winners was American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who scored 33 points (!!!) (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The former international Ailun Guo (192-93) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) who recorded 27 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Four Liaoning Hunters and five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangdong ST and Guangsha L. Loser Xinjiang Flying Tige keeps the second position with six games lost. Liaoning Hunters will meet Qingdao Eagles (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Xinjiang Flying Tige will play against the league's leader Shanghai Sharks (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
