Regular Season Round 20: RAC Basket - Orchies 77-75

The most exciting game of round 20 in the NM1 took place in Rueil. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Orchesien BC (11-9) to fourth ranked Rueil (14-6) 77-75 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Orchesien BC. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Karim Gourari (204-89) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Inception Sports) who added 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks during the contest. Hugo Dumortier (195-93) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Montenegrin power forward Zarko Rakocevic (204-84, agency: Mansfield and Associates) scored 19 points. Four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Rueil have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Caen. Orchesien BC at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with St Vallier. Rueil is looking forward to face Lorient (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play against Vitre (#12) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
