Regular Season Round 20: Nysa Klodzko - Pogon Prudnik 100-83

Bottom-ranked Nysa Klodzko managed to get a fourth victory on Wednesday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Pogon Prudnik in Kloszko 100-83. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 17-point difference suggests that Nysa Klodzko is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. They also forced 19 Pogon Prudnik turnovers and outrebounded them 35-18 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nysa Klodzko looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Aleksander Lenczuk (193-93) who added 20 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. Nysa Klodzko's coach Radoslaw Hyzy used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 15 points and 6 assists and guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) scored 17 points. Nysa Klodzko maintains sixteenth position with 4-16 record. Pogon Prudnik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with GKS Tychy and Polonia Leszno. Nysa Klodzko will meet higher ranked Rosa II Radom (#14) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pogon Prudnik will play against AZS AGH Krk. (#12) and hope to secure a win.
